Countess Athena & Godfather’s Twins
This book series illustrates one hundred and forty three years of Sicilian family life – their love and devotion, traditions, commitment and loyalty, royal families merging, wealth, survival, and crime. All these factors had an influence on the world, both in America and abroad.
The author began to research and document five generations of historical events in an effort to learn what happened to Duke Vito and Duchess Marie Cornino twenty years ago, along with their eight grandchildren who were four of the five sets of twins, and the great-grandchildren of Countess Athena Marie Castellammare; and Duke Don Vito Cornino, the godfather of Palermo, Sicily. Baron Tony and Baroness Florence Zibelli, along with seven other family members and their security, domestic, and medical staff, as well as their two pilots, were last seen in Zurich, Switzerland in August 2001, while doing some banking business.
It all begins in 1857 in Castellammare, Sicily, with Baron Felix Castellammare sitting on the porch of the 1,000-acre Castellammare Villa Estate overlooking his fields, olive groves, and grape vineyards. Baroness Roseanna, Countess Athena’s great grandmother has passed, leaving eight-year-old fraternal twins, Baron Vittorio and Baroness Vittoria. A revolt was brewing in the village and Count Don Carlos was going to use the revolt to take Castellammare Villa Estate from him by force.
What happens to the Baron and the twins is told and we follow them into tragedy and bitterness as they reclaim the Castellammare family treasure hidden in the castle.

In 1936, Duke Vito and Duchess Maria Cornino purchased a pre-civil war plantation home on the Mississippi River near New Orleans as their winter home, where fraternal twins Vito Jr. & Marie Cornino were born in 1939.
To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the last victory of the Battle of the Wilderness in the American Civil War, a Plantation Ball was planned and was one of the finest affairs of that time and remembered for years to come. The theme was inspired by “Twelve Oaks” from the “Gone with the Wind” novel. Why Murders Inc. decided to use hit-women as well as hit-men is revealed during the Ball.
Following the Plantation Ball, Duke Don Vito & Duchess Sabrina and Count Mario & Countess Athena remained at the Plantation awaiting the birth of Duchess Maria and Duke Vito’s baby, or babies, as was common in the Castellammare family. During this time, Countess Athena spent several hours each day sharing the Castellammare history with her daughters, Duchess Maria and Baroness Florence. and was told to the author, Lewis Barton, 40 years later.
This book series was inspired by real people, places, and events. Some of the names have been changed to protect the guilty.

The film will be supervised by Lady Marie, president, and Athena Marie Barton, vice president and great-granddaughter of Don Vito. Lady Marie worked closely with her father, Don Vito, Godfather of Godfathers, behind the scenes to develop the Godfather film series. She is guiding the film story to follow the same theme as The Godfather, only this is the real story, not fiction. Lady Marie is the only living person who experienced this life and saw firsthand what happened during this time period. Bush was working deep under cover for the CIA through his newly developed oil company, Zapata, building platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, some of which were designed as resupply depots for the anti-Castro network operating out of Miami. When JFK found out about the CIA’s anti-Castro operation, he demanded that the training camps be closed. The CIA had asked Godfather Vito for a favor. A favor which changed world history as the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was carried out per their request.
Recently, an FBI document has been discovered, directly involving former President George Bush in the 1963 murder of President Kennedy. At that time, Bush’s job in the CIA was to recruit Cubans in Miami for the invasion of Cuba. This is when he met Felix Rodriguez who became an Iran-contra CIA agent. Extensive documentation during the Iran-Contra affair, 1983-1988, ties Bush and Rodriguez. Bush denies knowing anything about illegal supply flights, but the diaries of Oliver North and logs of Felix Rodriguez have placed him working with Rodriguez when President Kennedy was killed, showing records of Bush’s CIA role back to the 1961 Cuban invasion. Bush denied these claims with his personal set of logs placing him elsewhere at the time of the assassination, contrary to the log and diary of North and Rodriguez, but a photo has been found showing him standing on the steps of the Depository when JFK was murdered.
Even more suspicious, in 1963 a memo from FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover directly stated that “George Bush of the Central Intelligence Agency” was involved in a briefing of the bureau’s investigation into the assassination. Bush was a very outspoken critic of the president.

Scalia had passed away suddenly in 2016.

Not wanting a confrontation with her, he decided to just get rid of her and me, leaving no one to talk. The stolen money was used for the organization of the Russian mafia.
Baron Tony’s own son, Tony Jr., was the representative for the Italian/American mafia in organizing and running the Russian mafia. In 1999, Tony Jr. was killed by Vito Jr. and Marie as revenge for Tony Jr. putting out a hit on Lady Marie and author Lewis Barton, at our home in Vero Beach, Florida, in 1998.
Tony Jr. had gone into the hospital for medical treatment and Lady Marie’s family knew where he was. They had security posted to protect him at the hospital by his room. Word got back to the Russian mafia that he was confined in a hospital. Eight hit people posing as couples, four men and four women, flew into New York City to take him back to Russia. Lady Marie’s family inquired through their intel sources and learned about the Russian group in the United States to pick up Tony Jr. and take him back to Russia. While hospitalized, Tony Jr.’s IV was injected with a substance from which he was never able to recover.
Princess Diana died on Sunday, August 31, 1997, following a car crash on Saturday night. On the Friday night a week earlier, Lady Marie’s twin brother, Lord Vito Jr. was nearly fatally shot in Russia. In a determined effort to save him, Marie traveled to Paris to meet with other mafia members, where she worked tirelessly to finalize their rescue plan. Armed with critical information from her informants, she intended to negotiate his release from the Russian mafia. To facilitate this, she carried $250,000 in cash for ransom.
While in Paris on Friday, August 29, a shocking twist of fate placed Lady Marie in proximity to the mafia assassins who were targeting Princess Diana. She intercepted crucial details of their plot, which revealed a web of deception involving significant amounts of Russian, Sicilian, and American mafia money being laundered through British banks. At the time, there were rumors that Diana was pregnant with her boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed’s child, a situation that reportedly unsettled the British monarchy. A deal was made between the American/Russian mafia and the Brittish monarchy.
